Holon: The Children's Play "Hannka and Piet" for Holochaust Day

Hi there,

I didn't want to share something trivial on Holochaust Day so I'm sharing a play for children in Hebrew.

In honor of Holocaust Day, the Holon Mediatheque Theater will present the play: "Hannka and Piet" for children aged 7 and up.

WHEN: Saturday, 4.5.19 at 10:30 Price: 75 NIS. WHERE: The Mediatheque Theater, 6 Golda Meir st., Holon. Free parking.

It's a drama about friendship, courage and hope based on Ran Cohen Aharonov's book. The play is the Winner of the Annual Stage Award by the Children and Youth Theater of 2016.

THE PLOT: In World War II, in Amsterdam, Holland, Hannka was separated from her parents and forced to hide with a foreign Dutch family. In the new house she meets Piet, an only child who does not give up her position easily. While the inferno outside threatens to destroy the city, the girls at home learn to accept each other, to find a common language and to form stronger attachments than any war.

Costumes: Avia Bash, Music: Amir Luckner, Lighting: Uri Morag
