Activities and Experiences
An Ethiopian celebration will take place in the Tznobar complex in the Golan. It's a family happening that includes a "Theater in a Suitcase" show, culinary events, creative workshops for children, an exhibition, a traditional 'Buna' coffee ceremony, and more...
At the Adi Studio at Hispin in the Golan, you are invited to a pampering chocolate workshop suitable for the whole family. For a sweet hour and a half, you will make, pralines, pour chocolates on a stick, learn to paint with chocolate, roll truffles and make crunchy nougat candy.
In Kiryat Shmona a carpentry workshop will take place at the 'Etz BaGalil' community carpentry located in the southern industrial area. During the workshop, there will be experiential woodworking activities for people of any age. All participants will build themselves a small piece of furniture to take home at the end of the workshop.
In addition, several farmers' markets of homegrown foods will take place in Karmiel, Misgav, Tiberias, Upper Galilee, Ma'alot, and Mate Asher.
Music and Stand-Up Performances
The singer and composer Rami Kleinstein in a piano concert at the Dobrovin estate of Yesod Ha'Maale (January 3, Tuesday at 19:30), the comedian Tom Aharon in a hilarious stand-up show at 'Pubella' in Manof (January 5, Thursday at 10:00 p.m.), Assaf Amdursky in an intimate solo show of his beautiful big songs accompanied by an acoustic guitar and a piano at Kibbutz Elon (January 12, Thursday at 21:00), the 'Yamas-Band' a real Greek celebration. The beloved band returns to rock the stage with innovative arrangements of the great classics of Greece at 'Pubella' in Manof (January 19, Thursday at 22:00).
Guided Tours in the North
A unique tour in Old Tiberias - a tour following the antiquities of the city of Tiberias under the guidance of the archaeologist Yossi Stepansky, the city researcher.
In Ein Qiniyye, guidance and observation of the river 'Nahal Sa'ar', the views of the Upper Galilee and the Golan, and the picturesque village of Ein Qiniyye. You'll take a short drive in private vehicles to the parking lot at "Al-Ashrak" High School and a guided walking tour during which you will visit the core of the ancient village, the museum of the ancient house, a Maronite church, and participate in a cooking workshop Authentic Druze food.
In Rehaniya, a guided tour of the Circassian village will include the Circassian museum that describes the uniqueness of the tribe, the culture, the Circassian history, and life in the village. A culinary workshop at the Nalchik restaurant in the village, and a visit to an artist's house, hearing fascinating stories. A Circassian cheese workshop and a visit to the winter pool, next to which is also the ancient 'Rihan' well from the Roman/Byzantine period.
In Rama - a guided tour around the village will take you to the local 'Rai restaurant and winery', including guidance and wine tasting, a circular tour of the core of the village, a visit to a Greek Orthodox church, Beit Yad Labanim, 'Al-Sobat Restaurant' with a fascinating story about the culinary family business including a cooking workshop to the sounds of oud. The tour includes a visit to the ancient house museum and a home meeting with the local soap maker.
A Tour of the Sakhnin Valley includes a fascinating in-depth tour of the valley and the Kammon Ridge, a short walk, a spectacular view, a special farm, and ancient stories, by tour guide Eitan Omer.
