Sharona Deri, Festival Director, has stated: "We missed the music performances at Kikar Hamusica, the hustle and bustle of the audience sitting in the restaurants and the unique summer atmosphere in the place, so we decided this year to start the summer with a double dose of performances.
We chose to hold the festival in the week when the "International Music Day" celebrations take place in Europe (21.06) and to bring to Jerusalem the joy and fun it deserves after the Corona period.
The annual music festival will last 5 evenings with each of them featuring performances in different styles from around the world and musical ensembles we have chosen especially for the festival! We have built a musical program suitable for a wide range of ages and styles.
I invite everyone to come to Kikar Hamusica during the festival, to combine it with a visit to the unique music museum that will remain open every evening of the festival until 23:00, add a chef's meal at one of our restaurants and enjoy a free live show."
