I have gathered a number of unique Passover events, suitable for the whole family that will be taking place up North this year.

Passover at "Rosh Hanikra"

Continuing the successful tradition, the biblical past of the Exodus comes to life again with actors in the characters of 'Moses' and 'Pharaoh, the King of Egypt' who will tour with the visitors and guide the audience through the sea caverns and tell the Biblical story of the Exodus and the splitting of the Red Sea in an experiential way.

In addition, the website will reopen in the evening, for family night lantern tours among the sea caverns, which include a night ride on the lit cable car, a guided lantern tour that will explain how the caverns were created and will take you over the famous bridge over which the mandatory train passed that brought illegal immigrants to Israel during the mandatory period and will tell you and screen a video about how the Zionist paramilitary organizations blew up the railway bridge. The duration of the lantern tour is an hour and a quarter. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour time. The lantern tour activity depends on the weather and advance registration.

When: The day tour plays will take place during Passover between April, 6-12, 2023 between 11:00 and 16:00, at no additional charge on top of the entrance fee to the site.

The lantern tours will take place between April 8-10, 2023 starting at 20:00.

Price: The entrance fee for the day activity is: Adults 53 NIS (47 NIS club members), Children 43 NIS (39 NIS club members). The night tour price is 59 NIS for adults and children over the age of 3.

Opening hours: 09:00-19:00 (last entry 18:00), Friday and holiday eves until 17:00 (last entry 16:00).

Passover activities at "Eshkol Beit HaKerem", in the Galilee.

A variety of activities for the whole family will take place throughout the Eshkol Beit HaKerem cluster in the Galilee. Under the tourism incubator 'Land of Olive Groves' you can find a wide variety of tours, workshops, restaurants, and places to stay. Some of the activities: the monkey park in Yodafat, the El Amir farm, the boutique chocolate factory in Manoff, the family park in Karmiel, Gravity Park, "Alsubat Restaurant", "Tabon Siti" restaurant, and more...

Special activities for Passover at "Naharayim at Gesher"

A combination of nature and heritage activities will take place at "Naharayim at Gesher" during Passover. These include an impressive audiovisual show with running water, an impressive film about the electricity plant from the 1930s, an exciting film about the struggle of the Kibbutz members during the Independence War that will be screening in the original dining room of the Kibbutz, guided tours, lantern tours, a tour beyond the perimeter fence, a Passover happening and many more surprises!

When:

  • Friday, April 7th- The site is open for guided tours to the general public at 11:00 and 12:30.

  • Saturday, April 8th - The Passover happening will take place between 10:00-15:00 and will include: guided tours and activities for children - a craft corner, soap bubbles, assembling a bridge, a riddle (for a separate fee), and more throughout the day. The happening is at a special fee of 20 NIS per person.

  • Sunday-Monday, April, 9-10th day tours between 9:00-16:00, lantern tours at 19:00.

  • Tuesday, April 11th - 9:00-14:00 day tours.

  • Wednesday, April 12th - 10:00-14:00 day tours.

Jordan Star National Park - "Knights without a break"

Passover at "The Jordan National Park" is a gem of heritage and landscape, in the center of which is a powerful crusader fortress that is impressive in its beauty and integrity. Among the various activities are: a guided tour of the fort, a challenging family navigation game, a craft workshop for swords and shields

The national park also offers overnight parking.

When: April 6-13th between 10:00 -16:00. Guided tours will depart at 10:30 and 12:30.

On April 9-11th, the overnight parking will be active, and guided tours will take place during the evening hours leaving at 18:00 and 20:00.

Price: The activity is free of charge on top of the entrance fee. Entrance is 22 NIS for an adult, 11 NIS for a senior citizen, and 9 NIS for a child (5-18). Free for Matmon subscribers. For the night's stay, a designated registration and payment must be made.
