Unity Art House: 'Shavuot in the City of Artists' - A Holiday Fair
Unity Art is a nonprofit association founded by Maria Preiger to help represent Israeli artists who came from the USSR and former Soviet Union and support them in their various artistic fields.
Until the outbreak of the corona, the association held its 'FUN EXPO' artists' fair for two consecutive years at the exhibition grounds. This year it has reopened the fair, in a different format with four events planned throughout the year starting with "Shavuot in the City of Artists" in Ramat-Gan being the first of them. Maria Preiger, CEO and founder of the association has explained the change: "In this way, the artists can present their original works in different parts of the country, and earn a decent living."
WHEN: May 13, 2021
WHERE: The Paratrooper's House, 121 Rokach St., Ramat Gan, from 15:00-21:00. Entrance is FREEֱֱ!
The fair will also include a happening complex with street performances by magicians and musicians, painters, a makeup corner, meditation corners, herbs, candles, mandalas and tarot cards, painting workshops, jewelry, doll design and belly dancing, a fashion show and more. The fair will also host the "Aria" band, the younger generation of the Bat Yam Opera Studio, which will present musical excerpts from the original musical "The Secret of King David's Birth", which tells the story of the Book of Ruth.
