Hi there,
Unity Art is a nonprofit association founded by Maria Preiger to help represent Israeli artists who came from the USSR and former Soviet Union and support them in their various artistic fields.
The current upcoming event is the second "Living Room Galleries" festival. During the festival, 30 members of the unity art association will open their homes to the general public, where they will present and explain about their works. It's a fun cultural event giving you a wonderful opportunity to travel, get to know artists in Israel and their works, and no less importantly - buy original handmade gifts for Passover!.
The artists come from a variety of creative areas: paintings in various styles, glass works, vases, jewelry, ornaments, designer clothes and accessories, bags, Judaica objects, dolls from different materials, decorated plates, soaps and more. In some of the houses, workshops will also be offered, including glass creation, neurographic art training, fortune-telling and other surprises. The visit to the open houses and gallery in Jaffa is free. The works - all handmade - will be sold at attractive prices.
Among the open houses are: Inna Kalter's glass house in Yokneam; Ira Mazur-Glatz's fashion salon in Ashdod; Irina Kogan's gallery of paintings in Kiryat Gat; Nikita Ben-Ami's jewelry gallery in Kadima; Rita Zorin and Agi Shani's gallery of ornaments, judaica and accessories in Haifa; Irena Tverskoy's gallery of artistic plates in Ateret, and more.
WHEN: March 17-24, 2021
WHERE: You can find a city or town you want to visit, type of work or artist on the association's Facebook page or call Maria Preiger at 054-3544218.
Best,
Talma
