I've gathered a few ideas for Valentine's Day activities (Feb 14th for those who don't remember).
Hamat Gader
The Hamat Gader between the south of the Golan Heights and the Jordan Valley is the perfect winter resort. The hot thermo-mineral springs, at an altitude of ~150 m below sea level reach a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and provide a wonderful relaxing experience. Rosh Hanikra Grottoes
A special Valentine's celebration will take place in the Mandatory Railway Tunnel of the Rosh Hanikra tourist site on Feb 14th, in collaboration with the chef restaurant "HaTsuk".
The meal includes new special dishes prepared especially for the evening accompanied by unlimited wine from the best wines of the 'Avivim' boutique winery to be adapted to the various dishes by the winery's chief winemaker. The meal will be served in the Mandatory Railway Tunnel, a special space through which the train from Haifa to Lebanon passed 80 years ago during the British Mandate. The tunnel will be furnished and heated especially for the evening.
Among the special dishes that will be served throughout the evening:
Tomato caviar; A winter salad; Red tuna tataki with a sesame and lemon zest crust , chili, an orange fillet with scallions and mirin soy sauce; Liver pâté on toasted rustik bread served with fresh strawberries and homemade onion jam; Goose breast in whiskey and amarena cherry sauce served on an orange cream with candied nuts; Grilled sweetbreads served with a corn cream, truffles and asparagus; Tornado beef fillet and foie gras served on mashed potatoes with chestnuts, roasted portabello and beef sauce; A dessert of mascarpone cream with fresh strawberries, meringue, almond crumble and a strawberry tuile and other dishes.
Event price : 390 NIS per person.
Evening schedule:
19:00-20:00 - Independent tour of the illuminated caves;
20:00 - A cocktail bar and singing overlooking the sea;
20:30 - Opening of the chef's dinner. The event is kosher. The number of seats is limited!

Manara Lodge
