I'm happy to share with you a new virtual reality family attraction that was launched this week in Jaffa . Many guests, including media people, came to experience a journey through time, in the heart of the Old City.
9 Beit HaEshel St., Jaffa. The attraction is in a complex called Space No. 9 on Floor (-1).
The new tourist attraction is a journey through time in the ancient Jaffa Express train using virtual reality head gear and multi-sensory chairs.
The passengers, arrive at the train station, where they are invited to enter the carefully designed carriage, put on the VR glasses and fasten their seat-belts. The advanced chairs then embark on a 360-degree journey, full of sights and experiences.
The Jaffa Express station is located at Beit Eshel 9, an impressive period building that was preserved and restored and in which a variety of galleries and cafes were opened, and on the lower floor (-1), the railway complex.
The duration of the journey is about 13 minutes, and is recommended for inclusion in any tour of the city. The attraction provides a nice indoors respite that is suitable for children aged 4 and up.
These days, when the streets of Jaffa are crowded with people, there is a festive atmosphere in the lighted Christmas square, and the alleyways are filled with visitors from around the world, in the market shops and restaurants so it can even be included towards the end of the day before dinner. Price: 35 NIS per person, 125 NIS for a family card (couple + 2 children), 30 NIS 30 for disabled / senior citizen / student, 18 NIS for soldiers.
