Lunch To Go: A New Quinoa Meal Added to the Series
Updated: Jan 4
The 'Etz Hazait' (i.e. 'Olive Tree') brand is launching a new Quinoa-based product in their 'Lunch To Go' series that now includes:
Red and white quinoa with tuna fish in olive oil.
Pasta with tuna fish in olive oil, Kalamata olives and dried tomatoes.
Rice and lentils with tuna fish in olive oil - Majadra style.
The 'Lunch To Go' product series that was developed by the company's development team is based on fine, high-quality raw materials.
All meals come in a personal consumption package weighing 160 grams, that includes a fork for use at any time and allows for an immediate, convenient, high-quality and fast light meal solution anytime, anywhere.
The new quinoa meal with tuna in olive oil, contains cooked white and red quinoa, tuna fish, carrots, onions, garlic, spices, salt and olive oil. It is a ready-made product that does not require heating and can be eaten immediately both indoors and out. It is suitable for light meals at home, at school, in the workplace, during trips, in the field by farmers or soldiers and more.
As a celiac, I have to state that although the new quinoa meal isn't labelled "gluten free", there are no warnings of existing or possible gluten content, which is stated in the other meals so you can consider trying it based on your level of intolerance. I did and felt fine and enjoyed it.
'Etz HaZait' is a brand that gives consumers added value in its products - in all the food categories in which it is present. 'Etz HaZait' is the leading brand in the edible oils market in Israel through a variety of quality oils, which have been an integral part of the flavors and aromas of Israeli cuisine for many years.
Oded Isaac, VP Marketing of 'Etz HaZait' has stated that "The Lunch To Go series provides a solution to the convenience trend of ready to eat food, as a real product that can be eaten on the go. Our challenge was to launch products tailored to the Israeli taste and we believe that we have indeed developed excellent products that the Israeli consumer will enjoy."
